This Chinese Book Reading and Quizzes program intends to promote reading in Chinese. There are six volumes in this series and each volume includes 20 books. The structure of the reading materials is from easy to intermediate. The reading materials include fables, fairy tales, life stories, and historical stories. Students are encouraged to take quizzes after reading the books to check on their reading comprehension.
In order to ensure success in Chinese reading, this program provides students with general reading strategies and the unique strategies in reading Chinese. The forum also gives students an opportunity to share their reading experience.
